THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST: Miss Prism
is a veteran actor of 48 years and counting. She was an original cast member of Broadway’s Wicked, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Big, A Change in the Heir and the 1974 revival of Gypsy. Among other credits are Off-Broadway, regional and stock productions in abundance; national tours, a couple of films, and concerts at Royal Albert and Carnegie Halls. Since setting up shop in Florida seven years ago, Jan has criss-crossed the country in productions of Billy Elliot, Boeing Boeing, Informed Consent, Sister Act, Tartuffe, The Life and Death of Richard II, On Golden Pond, Holiday Inn, The Full Monty, Private Lives and, here at Florida Rep, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.
