Frank Sanders
currently resides in Southwest Florida, and serves the music community as a performer and composer on international stages, with notable experiences in Italy, Mexico, Los Angeles and Miami. As a student, he has studied classical saxophone with such figures as Arno Bornkamp, Vincent David, and Nikita Zimin, as well as completing his bachelors in music performance at FGCU with Dr. Michael Weiss-Holmes. Sanders enjoys a continuously growing performance career highlighting a great variety of style and instrumentalism, including classical, contemporary, jazz, Latin, and theatre music, especially involving multiple woodwind doubling on various flutes, clarinets, and saxophones. He upkeeps his place as a representative in the Florida arts community, serving his 5th consecutive year as the Charlotte Chorale’s piano accompanist, and beginning his 1st year as a full-time fellow with the Gulf Coast Symphony and, in April of 2025, will be one in a handful of saxophonists to represent the United States in the highly prestigious Andorra SaxFest International Solo Saxophone Competition in Andorra la Vella.
