Summer Intensive
Florida Rep offers two-week musical intensive camps each summer for students ages 9 – 18. Each session centers around a Broadway Jr. title and are open to all skill levels. The camps run Monday – Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and culminate with two public performances on the Historic Arcade Stage.

Her past is a mystery. Her future is an adventure. Anastasia: The Musical is the spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be. This 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit is specially tailored for young actors.
From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.
Lion King Jr. (Ages 9 -18)
July 22nd-26th, 29th – August 2nd, performances on August 1st and 2nd
Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world. It is a story about identity, family, and responsibility that is enjoyed worldwide by people of all ages. With this one-of-a-kind musical, students will bring the African savanna to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
Camp Mini Stars (Ages 6-8)
July 1st-3rd, 5th, performance on July 5th
Back by popular demand – Camp Mini Stars is Back! This one week fun- filled camp is a relaxed, safe environment, where younger children can play and explore through music, creative movement, theatre games and arts and craft projects that will spark their imagination. The week’s theme will be centered around the popular Disney musical “The Lion King Jr.”.
The last day of camp will culminate in a brief final showcase for family and friends to enjoy!
