Kathleen Simmonds*
is an actress, filmmaker (and reformed attorney!) who holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the Actors Studio Drama School and is a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio. Select theater credits: Herself (Maureen) directed by Hamilton Clancy, Golden Boy (Lorna) directed by Aaron Latham, A Winter’s Tale (Hermione), Twelfth Night (Olivia) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena) for Shakespeare in Bryant Park by The Drilling Company, The Dark Outside (Theater for the New City), A Measure of Doubt (Hudson Guild Theater), Missing Pieces (American Theatre of Actors). Filmmaker credits: Woe is She (GoIndie TV and ROKU); Emmy-nominated Reversing Roe (Netflix) and Little Richard: I Am Everything (CNN/HBO), and Surviving Jeffrey Epstein (Lifetime). Kathleen has also been a moderator, panelist and jury member at the Chelsea Film Festival, NYC2Paris Film Festival and NYC WebFest. Kathleen is thrilled to be making her Florida Rep debut with Venus in Fur.
