Julissa Jean-Bart

has a history for theatre & center for the arts in the community. As a Lehigh Senior high alumna, she started her musical theatre journey as a speed typist in George Hill’s Thoroughly Modern Millie. With her background majoring in dance & repertory, she took full advantage of the opportunity and later participated in musicals such as Grease, taking on the role of Rizzo, and Aida as the leading role. After her studies at Santa Fe college, Julissa continues to pursue her career in medical services at Independence University online, and she is currently the parent coordinator/dance instructor at the Quality Life Center. After closing at the Laboratory Theatre of Florida as Nettie in Alice Walker’s The Color Purple, she is so ecstatic to be joining the cast of Into The Breeches at Florida Rep, and is ready to take on any challenges, meet new creative souls like herself, and deliver magic up on the Historic Arcade stage!
