New York credits include Mrs. Baker in Sump’n Like Wings at The Mint Theatre; Leece in A Peregrine Falls at The Wild Project; God in The Kilbane’s rock opera Weightless at The Public Theater’s Under The Radar Festival; Arthur Miller in Jeremy Tiang’s bilingual Salesman at LPAC; and playing opposite Marlo Thomas in George is Dead, written by Elanie May and directed by John Turturro at the Brooks Atkinson on Broadway. Recent World Premieres include Russian Troll Farm, directed by Darko Tresjnak; Women in Jeopardy, directed by Sean Daniels; and The Trial of Donna Caine, directed by David Saint. Florida stages: The White Chip at Florida Studio Theatre; and Body Awareness and The Game’s Afoot at Gulfshore Playhouse. Regional theatres: ACT, SF Playhouse, Marin Theatre company, Theatreworks (Silicon Valley), Pacific Repertory Theater, Cape Playhouse, Arizona Theatre Company, B Street Theatre, Merrimack Rep, Magic Theatre, and Portland Center Stage, among others. Her solo piece, I Was Right Here, was commissioned by SF Playhouse, filmed on their stage and ran for 7 weeks during the pandemic.  Julia is honored to be working at Florida Rep where her father, John Brothers, also performed. “Dad, I know you’re up there watching!
