John Martin

Executive Director John Martin celebrates his 23rd Season in administration supervising key personnel in all areas of operations. The North Carolina native is a graduate of Appalachian State University and holds a JD from the City University of New York Law School. He has worked in community organizing, public administration for the New York City Human Rights Commission, law, nonprofit development, and always theatre, including Theatre Rhinoceros in San Francisco. John has served on nonprofit boards in New York, California and Florida and as a multi-year panelist for the Florida Division of Arts & Culture. John is grateful to Founders Robert Cacioppo and Carrie Lund (true talents), staff (true beacons), his fellow board members (true leaders), our donor/patrons (true angels), the people of the City of Fort Myers (true visionaries), and family (true blessings) for making his passion a reality.
