James Beaman*
is an accomplished and award-winning actor, director, coach, and screenwriter. Most recently, he appeared as Fagin in Oliver! (Sharon Playhouse), Hipockets Duncan in The Buddy Holly Story (North Shore Music Theatre) and Albin in La Cage Aux Folles (Riverside Theatre). Beaman starred as Sir Robin in the First National Tour of Monty Python‘s Spamalot, playing 700 performances and 62 cities across North America. In a career spanning three decades, he’s appeared in over 100 plays and musicals, Off-Broadway and at leading regional theatres, including: Goodspeed Musicals, The Kennedy Center, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, and more. Trained at the Academy for Classical Acting at GWU, James has performed over 25 roles in the Shakespeare canon.
