The Florida Repertory Theatre is opening its 29th season with a blend of live music and film celebrating the legendary story and music of the Everly Brothers.

“Forever Everly” combines a documentary exploring the lives and careers of the famous duo with live performances by Jared Mancuso and Nick Gallardo, who perform alongside the film.

Mancuso and Gallardo joined us in the Gulf Coast ABC studio to discuss how they prepare to fill the shoes of such important musical figures.

The show runs through Oct. 25 in the Florida Rep’s ArtStage Studio Theatre.

Tickets are available on the Florida Repertory Theatre’s website. You can also call the theatre’s box office at (239)332-4488 or visit the theatre in downtown Fort Myers, which is located at 2268 Bay Street.
