Florida Repertory Theatre is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern for its current season.
The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Marketing Manager to help promote current and future productions. Candidate must be available to work at least 2 days/week and specific events throughout the season including occasional weekends. Hours can be flexible around class schedules. Stipend will be provided based on level of knowledge and worktime commitment. Excellent opportunity for college-level student seeking marketing/public relations experience in the non-profit/arts industry.
Required Skills:
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- General data entry & reporting knowledge
- Organized, self-starter, independent worker
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Collaborate on data collection and writing of playbill insert content
- Prepare media and guest artist packets
- Maintain calendar of events on various websites
- Post-performance surveys
- Gather analytics for web/eblast/social media traffic
- Support marketing efforts of Education Department
- Organize/update MailChimp contacts list
- Prepare mailing lists for collateral outreach materials
- Occasionally assist box office in over-flow calls
- Maintain and organize shared media drive
- Assist with special events, such as photo calls, opening nights, and the annual fundraising Gala
Optional Skills/Talents:
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Basic Photography skills
- Website administration (content entry/updates)
