Seeking: Company Management Intern
Florida Repertory Theatre is a fully professional theatre company serving all of Southwest Florida and is now entering its 25th season as an ensemble-based, artist-driven organization. Florida Rep operates an active Education & Outreach Department that reaches 45,000 young people annually. The Company Management Intern will learn & assist with:
-Work alongside the Company Manager as intermediary representative of Artistic Director and General Manager to cast, crew, guest artists and creative team.
-Assist in liaising between departments such as Development, Marketing, Education and Show personnel (including actors, design teams, stage management) and Admin as necessary.
-Assist in arranging and organizing all travel and housing for out of town artists.
-Assist in arrangements of all ground transportation for artists and out of town actors and press events.
-Hands on training in managing all cast and intern housing requirements including leases, documentation, furnishings and issues.
-Help facilitate Casting sheets, LOI’s and Personnel information between casting and finance departments.
-Distribution of scripts/scores.
-Assist in maintenance of housing, supplies and company cars.
The Company Management Intern should bring:
-Confidence and ability to work and make decisions independently
-Ability to respond promptly to the needs of staff and crew while upholding the organization’s values
-Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment
-Mastery of Excel and Word programs
-Able to lift 50lbs
Annual Salary Range: $10/hour + housing provided
Timeline: Able to start as soon as possible.
