As a member of the original founding company of Florida Repertory Theater, Greg Longenhagen will be embarking on his 21st season. He is especially proud of the honor of entering his third decade with the Rep as its new Artistic Director. Since 1998, Greg has worked on 59 productions at Florida Rep either as an actor, director, fight choreographer or dialect coach. He was last seen on Florida Rep’s mainstage as Artie in The House of Blue Leaves. His other acting credits include performances at The Charlotte Repertory Theatre, Riverside Theatre, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, Florida Stage, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Quantum Theatre, Pirate Playhouse, Trilogy Theatre, Pennsylvania Stage Company, Inner Space Theatre, The Mountain Playhouse, Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre, The Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival, Philadelphia Shakespeare, The Pantages Theatre, The Great American Children’s Theatre, Theatre at Hartwood, The Fulton Theatre, Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, Opera Delaware, St Vincent Theatre, Theatre Row Theatre, and Stage Right. Directing credits include Florida Rep’s 2017 production of The Last Night of Ballyhoo, PlayLab readings of Split in Three, Where I Dwell, We Will Not Be Silent, and more. Greg has choreographed fight scenes for and voice/dialect coached more than 27 shows at the Rep where selected credits include The Miracle Worker, Outside Mullingar, To Kill a Mockingbird, Twelve Angry Men, August Osage County, and Boeing Boeing. He holds an MFA from the University of Pittsburgh and certified S.A.F.D. at Carnegie Mellon University. Big Hugs and much love to his family, but especially Liz, Liza, and Jack!
