Steve Pacek
Steve Pacek is an interdisciplinary theatre-maker from Philadelphia, PA, though his work has been seen on many stages beyond the City of Brotherly Love. Recent directing work includes: The Comedy of Errors – Virginia Stage Company; [Untitled Project] #213 – Edinburgh Fringe Festival; The Light Princess – Arden Theatre Company; Once (movement director) – Arden & TheatreSquared; God of Carnage – Hangar Theatre; The Syringa Tree – Theatre Horizon; Grey Gardens, Hair, Into the Woods & The World Goes ‘Round – 11th Hour Theatre Company. Steve is also a co-founder and the newly appointment Transitional Artistic Director of 11th Hour Theatre Company and developed the Emergency Relief program as Vice-Chair of the Board for Theatre Philadelphia, providing assistance to theatre workers affected by industry closures during the pandemic. Other work includes performing (Alley, Walnut Street, DTC, Arden, Virginia Stage, Arkansas Rep, Milwaukee Rep, et al), teaching (Jen Waldman Studio, University of the Arts, Evolve Studio), and event producing (Barrymore Awards).
