About Florida Repertory Theatre
Liz Abbott
Ann Mather

is delighted to be back on stage at Florida Rep wherein 1999 she played Susan in “Veronica’s Room”. Play Lab readings at the Rep include “Rainbow’s Return” and two readings of “George Washington’s Teeth”. Liz grew up on Sanibel Island and started her local acting career upon returning from New York City, often performing at the original Old Schoolhouse Theatre with JT Smith, basking in the excitement of Broadway Palm’s first few opening seasons, and then focusing on Industrial Theatre, traveling across the country as a spokesperson for a variety of large corporations. Liz has been a national television spokesperson and voice-over artist (locals may remember her as the signature voice of 99X). Liz returned to the stage this year in Theatre Conspiracy’s “Women In Jeopardy” after an almost 20-year hiatus. While she has performed in fundraising readings of “The Vagina Monologues”, “Love Letters”, and “Love, Loss and What I Wore” over the past few years, her starring role has been a “Real Housewife of Fort Myers.” Because of Florida Rep, Liz met and married talented, longtime company member, Greg Longenhagen. They share their lives and love with their two children: daughter and actress, 11-year-old Liza Jayne (FL Rep’s Scout and Helen Keller), and their amazing, clever, and witty 9-year-old son, Jack.
