Sustain Live Professional Theatre in Southwest Florida.
Since 1998, Florida Rep has been producing some of the finest theatre in the nation, and has set a standard for excellence in performing arts that is unmatched in its region. Florida Rep is committed to providing Southwest Florida with a first-rate cultural outlet that both entertains and challenges its audiences, and through education and outreach, invests in its future by cultivating an appreciation for the arts in the youngest members of the community.
Over 80,000 theatergoers see Florida Rep’s work every year, and the programming we bring into schools and classrooms impacts upwards of 17,000 young people. We have become an essential part of the cultural and economic profile of Southwest Florida, and thanks to recent national recognition in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, Florida Rep is quickly becoming a player on the national stage.
Ticket revenue and notoriety alone are not enough to sustain Florida Rep. In order to continue to produce the high-quality programming our audiences have come to expect, Florida Rep needs support from individuals like you. We know that in challenging economic times choosing to support us is not a decision you make lightly, and for that we thank you.
A contribution to Florida Rep is a contribution to the cultural landscape of Southwest Florida. By helping to ensure Florida Rep’s continued financial stability, you make an investment in the quality of life in your community. Your dollars will be put to good use, and will help Florida Rep move into the future as “One of America's Top Repertory Companies." -The Wall Street Journal
As a nonprofit professional theatre serving Southwest Florida, Florida Rep relies on the generosity of its patrons who donate funds for each production and program.
“Ticket revenue only covers two-thirds of operating costs and cash donations are essential if the show is to go on.”
-John Martin, Managing Director
Each season, hundreds of individual patrons make modest to large cash contributions that are fully tax-deductible to the donor. Please consider making a donation to Florida Rep, and receive valuable donor benefits. For more information, or to make a contribution, please contact:

The Education Endowment Fund
The theatre maintains an Education Endowment Fund, created by Mrs. Barbara Wood, in memory of her husband, J. Howard Wood, Publisher and President of the Chicago Tribune. Donations to the Endowment Fund provide income that underwrites children’s theatre education and performance.
Wonderfully, thousands of American corporations and retail businesses match gifts made to Florida Rep by their employees, both present and retired. Check to see if your employer or company has such a matching gift foundation and be sure to make your donation to the theatre double.
