ZAP! is an electrifying play about… well… electricity! Written by award-winning playwright, Eric Coble, ZAP! was commissioned specially by Florida Rep and Lee County Electric Cooperative, and will educate children of all ages about the many wonders of electricity — history, safety and conservation. Join Joanna Wilcox, a girl who doesn't ask why the lights come on or what powers her flat screen TV, on a fun and colorful journey of electric proportions! With the help of Zap, an Electrical Hero, and the three other Stimulating Spirits, Joanna travels through time to learn how to “Get Smart, Get Safe, and Get Saving!”

The Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) is a non-profit electricity and utilities distribution company, and proudly underwrites the performances of Zap! for the 2008 season.
