Deon’te has spent the past year working professionally both in California and New York City, and is excited to begin his work with Florida Repertory Theatre. His most recent accomplishments include his work with Stephen Schwartz in a workshop of The Prince of Egypt and the success or his one-man show he presented in California, PSA. Other credits include: The Dryer/Bus (Caroline, or Change), George (Stop Kiss), Tom Collins (RENT), Black Dude (The Toxic Avenger), Featured Soloist (The Lost Colony), and Hans (Cabaret). He has also landed principle roles in many operas, including Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Philip Glass’ Galileo Galilei, and Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors. Deon’te holds a BM in Classical Voice from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
