To commemorate our 10th Anniversary (2007-2008), local artist Myra Roberts created this "vintage" oil painting.
Myra Roberts is an award-winning artist whose oil and watercolor paintings have been featured in several publications, and purchased by numerous private and public art collectors nationwide, including Robert Rauschenberg. She is an accomplished portrait artist, and her commissioned paintings capture the unique personality of her subjects. Myra works as a full-time studio artist on Sanibel, and her work is represented by the Seaweed Gallery on Sanibel and Captiva, as well as Arts for ACT in the Fort Myers River District.

Welcome to the Florida Rep and our most exciting season to date, both in size and scope. We look forward to our journey, audience and artists together, through the ten varied and exciting plays this year. We promise laughter, drama, nostalgia, an intimate meeting with three great writers and even more laughter!
This season we proudly bring you four of the hottest new plays in America, both the 2009 and 2010 Tony Award winners for the Best Play, including the newest work by one of the Florida Rep’s favorite playwright, A.R. Gurney (Sylvia). Plus, some of the funniest plays by the worlds greatest comic minds: Simon, Ayckbourn, Ludlam and Sadaris.
Best of all, these ten great plays will be brought to life by our stellar ensemble of actors, directors, designers, and craftsman, who since 1998 have provided Southwest Florida with some of the finest theatre in America.
